If your community uses a secondary pool for non-first-year students, this article will show you how to set up your CampusDirector site so those individuals are automatically placed in that pool.
1. Make sure you have enabled the secondary pool, click here for instructions.
2. Enable the secondary pool as a non-first-year students feature. To do that, navigate to Setup > Site Setup > Configuration and scroll down to the second box, "Site Configuration Options." You will need to set "Assign PNM to secondary pool (if not freshmen) to "Yes" by clicking the "Edit" button - this is the seventh setting down.
3. Add the pre-created registration question "Year in College (select)" to your registration. To do this, navigate to "Setup" > "Site Setup" > "PNM Extra Fields." There, you will scroll to the bottom and "Add New Field" if you have not already enabled it. Once there, search for this field (see screenshot below)
It will appear in your registration extra fields, like the image below:
If you do not enable this field, CampusDirector will not know which students are first-year and which are not.
