CampusDirector - How to set up your registration fee

Some communities ask that registrants pay a fee upon registering. CampusDirector allows users flexible options to set up and request fees. 

How to set up a registration fee: 

1. Navigate to and select "Setup" on the left side navigation bar. 

2. Select "Site Setup" and then "Payments" 

3.  In "Payments" you will set up your payment requirements for those registering. Below will walk you through each field you will need to complete. 

Type of Payment - CampusDirector allows you to use a custom payment link or our partner, Greekbill. If you choose to use Greekbill, you will see that reports are automatically updated and payment information is displayed in each participant's profile in CampusDirector. If you want to set up a Greekbill account or need help with your account, you will see their information at the bottom of this article. 

Custom Payment Link - if you are not using greekbill, paste your link here (we encourage you to test it and ensure it's correct before pasting it here). 

Accept Payments - this will need to be set to "yes" if you want to collect a registration fee.

Require Payments - if you want the free to be required, set this to "yes." 

Greek Bill Account Number - If using Greekbill, input your account number so all fees collected are deposited into the correct account. 

Registration fee - here you will input the fee amount you want to collect. 

Additional instructions to include in email payment notification - input any additional information you want shared with registrants upon successful payment. 

If you require additional fees like a housing deposit, you will complete the "Additional Payment - Council Defined" 

If you want to collect philanthropic donations, you will complete the "Optional Fee: Philanthropic Donation." section. 

Once you have completed inputting the information in the "Payment tab", you will need to do one more thing.

1. Navigate to "Setup" > "Site Setup" > Configuration and scroll down to the second box entitled "Site Configuration Options." 

2. Find the setting "Show as paid when pnms pay this amount" and input your registration fee.
